10 Celebridades Forçadas a Abordar Teorias da Conspiração Insanas dos Fãs

The long-lasting rumor around Jamie Foxx is quite a curious one. So some people think Foxx, whose real name is Eric Marlon Bishop, isn’t the person we all think he is. The theory is that the Jamie Foxx we see now is not the same man who entered the industry decades ago; instead, he’s a clone. Some fans even believe he’s been replaced multiple times over the years!

While it may have started as a joke, this conspiracy theory quickly gained traction online, with “The Jamie Foxx Conspiracy” threads popping up on online forums and social media platforms.

The rumors grew even stronger when Jamie Foxx was mysteriously hospitalized in 2018, leading to speculation that Foxx was in the process of being cloned… again. Subsequent public appearances, where fans claimed Foxx looked slightly different, did little to quell the rumors.

In response, Foxx address the rumors directly, making light of them on social media, and even discussing them in interviews. Despite these denials though, the rumor has persisted. So, is Jamie Foxx a clone? As Foxx himself would say, “No, damn it, I’m not a clone!” But then again, that’s exactly what a clone would say… wouldn’t they?[7]

3 Mariah Carey

It seems no celebrity is safe from conspiracy theories, and that includes pop superstar Mariah Carey. The most famous rumor about her? That she is actually either dead or in a coma, and the “Mariah Carey” we see today is merely an imposter hired by Carey’s management team to keep her career going.

The rumor originated years ago, with fans citing several pieces of supposed “evidence.” For example, they claim there are discrepancies in her appearance over time (namely, changes to her nose and voice), and they point out that her overall stage presence seems different than in her younger years.

But of course, the idea that Mariah Carey died and was replaced by lookalike is absurd. People age, voices change, and plastic surgery is not uncommon among celebrities. Carey herself has never addressed the rumors, likely because they’re unworthy of her time and attention. But that hasn’t stopped fans from spinning tales and theories about the possible “imposter” Mariah.[8]

2 Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne is yet another celebrity who’s been subject to Replacement Theory. Fans allege that she died at the peak of her fame and was replaced by a woman named Melissa Vandella. This conspiracy first emerged in 2005 on a Brazilian Avril fan page, which detailed “evidence” supposedly proving Lavigne’s death and replacement.

Fans claim that the singer’s writing style, voice, and even her physical appearance changed after 2003. They point out specific differences in her features, including changes in her nose, eyes, and birthmarks.

Despite the apparent traction this conspiracy theory has gained, Avril herself clarified in an interview with Australian radio station KISS 1065 in 2018, “Yeah some people think that I’m not the real me which is so weird! Like why would they even think that.” She continues to enjoy a successful music career and has released several albums since the rumors began.[9]

1 Beyoncé

The Beyhive, Beyoncé’s hardcore of followers, have spun quite a few conspiracy theories about their queen over the years. The most notable one being that Beyoncé isn’t her real age. Many believe she’s actually several years older than she claims. This theory was born from a 2006 interview where the singer apparently said she was the same age as Pink and Usher, who are both older than her.

Further fuel was poured onto the fire when Gabrielle Union referred to Beyoncé as her “industry friend” in an interview, despite Union being nine years her senior on paper.

Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles, once addressed the age rumors pointing out that if they were trying to fake her age, they would have made her younger, not older.

Another theory that briefly sent the internet into a frenzy was that Beyoncé faked her pregnancy with her first child, Blue Ivy Carter. After an appearance on an Australian talk show where her baby bump seemed to fold in on itself, rumors swirled that she was wearing a prosthetic belly and using a surrogate.

While these rumors have been debunked and dismissed by Beyoncé, they continue to persist, proving that even the Queen Bey isn’t immune to conspiracy theories![10]
